I don't know where to go to download free music I know it can be done! I also know that some sites are better that others. Limewire is awesome. Just go to www.limewire.com and download the regular version. It doesnt spam or send viruses to ur computer.

Using Limewire or other P2P programs to download (steal) music, software and movies etc. without paying for it, is one of the leading causes of virus and spyware infections.





Many downloads using P2P file-sharing programs are loaded with malware. You will be downloading ';stuff'; from unknown stranger's computers while they will be uploading from your computer at the same time. You do not download from any website.





It is amazing that people who would never accept and eat a sandwich from a stranger, don't think twice about downloading a file to their PC from a perfect stranger, who lives half-way around the World!





If you don't know the difference between a .wmp (good) file from a .wmf (potentially very bad) file or a .zip from a .pif, then stay away from Limewire, Kazaa, and all P2P programs. The same is true if you don't know the difference between a song that is 25kb in size from one that is 3 mb in size. The smaller one is probably a Trojan, just waiting for you to infect your computer with.





P2P file-sharing is no place for computer novices. Even experienced expert users get infected using P2P at times.





If you must use P2P, always scan every file you download with your anti-virus and your anti-spyware before you open it.

well it is of course completly illegal! using the Gnuttella network is the best thing, you need to get an application like limewire (from http://www.limewire.com ) and use that, though personally i just rip them right off of youtube





and jessica, yes you can get viruses off of limewire, because people deliberatly put them on there, so be careful, and check the formats and check they look real
well its never free music is a money making industry. you have to pay for itunes and Napster and all of them however peer to peer sites have all kinds of files to ';share'; for free. share is a nice way of saying piracy. if your not scared of the recording industry goons then download all the pirated songs you want lime-wire kazza bit torrent you can probably find any song you'd want on any of those. its free but you will have a guilty conscious.
