I want to start an advice site on myspace or facebook...good or bad idea...details included?

i realize that life can be difficult and i want to give my advice to people online, because i now talking to a person on the phone can be hard, im not a counselor but im prepared for a situation i cant handle, i have a list of places to call and i know to report suicides, i just want to do this because i know that sometimes teens dont think they can turn to anyone.... i want to do this on myspace or face book, but i want ur input, is it a good idea or not?I want to start an advice site on myspace or facebook...good or bad idea...details included?
It's is human nature to want to help, well for most of humanity anyway, but.... you have got to be really careful about this...





because you are not certified doesnt mean you arent qualified.. but... that certification protects your hind quarters.





if it is advice that requires certification, then it wouldnt be a wise thing to do and this doesnt become necessarily a good or bad idea but a risky one. i would hate to see you get sued or in some legal entanglement because you may have happened to piss someone off that day by what you would find to be helpful words but they are pissed because your helpful words backfired.





if you have a passion for this.. i would get a school counselor of some type to direct u to the right schooling and courses to take, then go from there.I want to start an advice site on myspace or facebook...good or bad idea...details included?
Awesome idea to an extent. What you have to realize is even though you are only helping someone may take you completely serious on a subject when they should not and if things go wrong its going to be your fault, because if anything as a human race we do not blame ourselves very often. I would share advice, compassion and caring attitude with friends, loved ones and family, but I would advise not to put yourself out there until you learn more about personality traits, the human mind and the diseases of the human mind. If you are a good listener, trusting and great with people you would make an incredible psychiatrist and the money isnt bad either!!!
