Try veggie ';meats'; (good brands are GardenBurger, Morningstar Farms, Boca). They make them in nearly every meat imaginable and they honestly taste great, like real meat! They have ground beef, sausage, chicken strips, chicken nuggets, corn dogs, hot dogs, burgers, etc etc. I've made my carnivorous boyfriend and my dad meals using these products and they both loved the food! (I didn't tell my dad I used fake meat and he couldn't even tell!) Going gradually or stopping all at once both work -- its just your personal preference and what works best for you. Make sure to get enough protein and iron in your diet. For protein, eat veggie meats, tofu, dairy products (cheese, yogurt, etc.), eggs. For iron, I take iron supplements but you can also find iron-rich foods to eat -- I think lentils/beans are a good source. Hope this helps.I want to be a vegetarian but I am a meat addict! As far as the blood clots, did you inherit this as well? A blood test should be able to tell you this. This is likely the reason for the strokes - and while poor health aggrevates this, someone who has Hypercoagulability is more likely to stroke than someone without it. If you've inherited this, then hopefully your doctor has talked with you about DVT's and how to prevent clots - like by taking aspirin and remaining active.
Being vegetarian is easy if you're doing it for the right reasons (i've been vegetarian since 13, vegan since 16 and now I'm 20, it was an easy choice for me). Since you are not doing it for ethical reasons it'll be harder for you, but it should be pretty easy still since there is a possibility you could die from a heart attack. Just think of what good you're doing your body and about the end result. And realize you won't be limited to only eating salads and tofu, there are so many things out there you can explore. But, if you don't think you can do it, why don't you talk to your doctor about switching to healthier meats (or only include it a couple times a week) or look into ayurveda and see if that can offer any help?
ps - chances are after a few weeks of being vegetarian, you are going to feel so much better that you won't even want to go back to eating meat. Good Luck!

If it is a health reason then maybe you need to change your diet to a healthier diet still including meat. If i loved meat as much as i love being a veggie i don't think i could stop eating meat... (if that makes any sense... I think it sounded better in my head!) I believe that being a vegetarian is a lifestyle and should come naturally and not forced. Any behavior change that is forced does not usually last long. Be careful and do it for the right reasons....

Firstly, they do have soy meat products. I know, the stereotype for soy protein is that its gross. NOT TRUE. I have made soy-meat products for many of my meat eating friends and they LOVE it. It may not taste like meat (Having never eaten meat, I wouldn't know.) But it tastes FANTASTIC. It's called FryChik. You can buy it from Central Market, most commonly. Sometimes Albertsons will sell it, but its pretty expensive there.
NEXT. Do you plan on being a lactose vegetarian? (Meaning, dairy products are okay to eat.) Thats what I am. If so, I suggest making a nice Broccoli and Cheese Rice Casserole. The salt in the cheese will help satisfy your desire for meat.
Rumor: Some people think you NEED meat to get your protein. FALSE. You can get all the protein you need by eating beans, nuts, and dairy products. Don't be discouraged by the lies! Humans are naturally meant to be vegetarians. We have flat teeth and long intestines for slowly breaking down plants. (As opposed to lions, who have very short intestines so the meat does not rot in their body!)
Fact: Most of the meat you eat and buy is very toxic to your body. Such as beef. Aside from the meat being laced with growth hormones, you are also eating ADRENALINE. This is because when the animal is being slaughtered, the one behind it is seeing it die. The bovine gets a surge of adrenaline, as it is terrified, and when it is slaughtered, the heart can no longer pump the adrenaline into the kidneys to be filtered. Adrenaline is poison. Eat enough of it, and you will die. Eat a little over a life time and you will die between the ages of 65-75. Not a very old life.
Fact: Vegetarians live, on average, 5-15 years longer than a meat-eater. (Assuming they do not smoke or drink excessively, that is.)

I need good advice about an online site?
I ordered a couple of DVD sets off a website, using a money order, well I sent the MO to the address, about a week ago, and they haven't got it, apparently the dvds were on sale, and I was told by e-mail that they'll be gone by the end of the day or tomorrow, and the man in charge of the site also advised me to cancel the order and re-order them with a credit card (which I don't have), yet I clearly stated to him that I sent the money a week ago, what should I do? and tell him?
They obviously don't honor money orders, yet thats one of their payment options.
And another thing, they sent me everything I bought in the past, which wasnt much, but still he's ignoring money orders and only taking credit cards, he shouldn't even use money orders as a payment option.

Having said that, the terms should have been disclosed in advance, and if the merchant is unable to fulfill your order, he has an obligation to return your check or money order to you. Under the postal rule you are deemed to have 'accepted' the 'offer to buy' made by an advertiser at the time you place your payment in the post. The only thing though is that you MUST have proof of posting your payment, otherwise the advertiser is under no obligation.
If you did no send your payment by registered post then you do not have any legal grounds for recourse. I think you have two choices at the end of the day ... either accept that you will not get the goods at the sale prices, and cancel the order - or reason with the advertiser that as a repeat buyer you are not happy and will give him no more of your business.

I needed the name of a song once......only knew one line of the song (the radio station couldn't even help me, but someone on YA knew, I was so excited.....waited 2 years to find out the name of it.....lol. Anyway, I do this for fun, but like helping people (especially in the dog questions) with answers if I know them. Now it's like kind of........shall I say addicting, in the sense that I look forward to seeing all the questions people can ask, (although some of them are way out there), but all in all, it passes my free time, and I can get quite a few laughs from this site.

I would say redo your layout,, put your pic and a maze to one side and then add the wording to your other side.
As far as narrowing things down, some one would have to sit down and re-word/re-think/re-write, it would not be a simple two minute thing.

there is an art glitch in your main brown area, center box where Review is, the empty space below it is bumped left, so either I take it as that cell to left is too small or cell under Review is too big, looks like 2-3 pixels at most. in same brown area, the Monitor area, '; success of your project, the of your project isn't bumped over and lined up like others.

1. go to Google/MSN/YAHOO. and create adds for your products.
2. make a page full of advertisements of your products on 1 page.
3. then make a page about each item.

It depends on what you plan on selling? Is this something that you will do continuously? Are you interested in started a business selling things on-line? If so I have a few recommendations.
1. I would get a website where people can go to find your stuff.
2. You will need a shopping cart on your site.
3. Advertise in any way that you can. It will take a while before the search engines start to recognize your site and find it to be legit.
There is software from a Web Development company that I highly recommend. Web Shop Manager, www.webshopmanager.com is a complete content management system that will allow you to control everything on your website, including any changes that you want to make, without having to deal with a web designer all the time. The software also gives you your own shopping cart, so you essentially have your own store in the palm of your hands. They also do amazing design work. I have my own on-line boutique and went through them and have been very happy. You can check out my boutique to get an idea.My mum wants to start selling items online - any advice? You could take a chance and hope everything works out fine, but don't be surprised if you get less than what you hoped for. Personally, after viewing some of the costumes, I think the quality is poor. Remember, you get what you pay for. Cheap = Cheap. Others will also be able to see the low quality of your costume if you just buy the cheapest one you can find. It's often not worth the money you think you'll be saving if you end up with an ugly costume.

I feel forums regarding young people should fall into two catagories 13-16 and young adult 17-19. There is a huge difference in the two groups, the young adults are adults able to join the military, move out on their own etc., where the younger teens are still very dependant on their parents etc. I think a broad forum trying to cover such a broad range of levels does not work very well and causes confusion.Who thinks teen forums/advice sites need better age seperation?

There isn't as huge a difference as you think. I have more life experience than the 13 year olds, definitely, but I WAS them 6 years ago. Definitely in maturity level, there is a difference between a 13 year old and a 19 year old. But a 16 year old and a 17 year old are on about the same maturity level. There aren't many differences. Putting them in separate forums doesn't make sense. That's probably why there aren't any.
Also, it's great to meet people of all ages and walks of life, because there are so many different opinions out there, and it's a great way to stretch your brain, to talk to different people and trade opinons.

Anyone know of a good site for nutritional advice?

just simply answer a question that you know the answer to or at least have an opinion or an idea about, and you'll be helping other people, by giving them other options or possibly the answers their looking for, if your answer really does it for them, the'll pick your answer as ';best answer'; and you'll be given 10 extra points and they'll write a feedback to it as well.

The layout seems a bit crowded. I think you can probably go wider on the pixel width for your content. If you're target audience are designers and people looking for designers, they'll probably be running at least 1024 pixels wide.
I think your container size is probably around 750pixels. You can probably go up to 960. That would give you more room and would definitely improve the look of the layout.
Also, the top dark grey banner looks cut off. If you are going with a floating fixed with design, you might want to consider putting a sublte drop shadow along the right and left edges.
Think links in black for Log-in are not very obvious. Maybe you can do something to make them look more like buttons.

I am about to setup my first website and I could use some advice on the content structure of the site.?
I'm looking to setup a personal travel website at this time that can be setup for affiliate purposes. I thought I would generalize so that I could affiliate with agancies at all corners of the world. The affiliates were easy to find, but I'm quite uncertain how to structure it so as to cerculate it effectively. Perhaps first I need to come up with an effective set of words that might allow me to work around the fact that I am not going to be a bonified travel agency, but will have all of the resources plus many many more. I'll have a blog, chat room, message board, photo gallery, and an incredible atlas site that will be hard to compete with, and so on, but I do need a place to start. Like I said in the beginning, I would like to generalize so that people can send in pictures, articles, and personal experiences from all over over the world.
