Need Advice, Poker Site?

I signed up with poker in canada (www.pokerincanada.com) not long ago, and deposited money fine, i did again, and today i just deposited some money using moneybookers, the transaction went through fine, the money was taken out of my moneybookers account, and at the end of the transaction the pokerincanada cashier said ';unsuccessful';.

I spoke to them on livechat, and they said they havent received the money and it never went through and to contact moneybookers, i did this and moneybookers said it HAS been credited to their account, so i went back, i was then told i would need to wait 5 hours and send screenshots of transaction to cashier. I waited the 5 hours and went back on livechat, i was then told the processing department isnt available for another 3 hours.

The guy i spoke to was very rude, didnt want to know, and kept fobbing me off with ';I have answered your query';.

They wont credit my account, and keep extending the times to wait. Who do i contact? What 2do?

ThanksNeed Advice, Poker Site?
okay. sounds like the usual run around by a dodgy operator...

nothing I can advise will get your money quick. I would give it a day and see what happens.

Then....

1) call moneybookers.com customer service. I believe they take an interest in protecting their customers and would be interested in knowing about dodgy merchants. They might even be able to help investigate the matter and get your money back.

2) Call the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. According to PokerInCanada.com they are licensed under this regulator. They are bound to operate a fair game with fair transactions. You should put in a complaint and seek help in recoving your funds.

Don't use email or free chat nonsense. I highly recommend you make contact via the phone. Things get done much faster that way.

sigh...

you really should have stuck with the major names who have a reputation for fair dealing...

Follow the advice above you find best. Once you've done it put some thought into one question for the future:

Would you sit down at a table in a casino where you couldn't see the dealer, the other players, the deck, or your own hand? Would you be willing to have the casino tell you what cards are yours, and when the bets are all out, what cards the other players have?

If not maybe online gambling isn't the best choice for filling your gambling needs.
Documentation: Keep records and get in touch with the RCMP fraud squad. It is not likely that either of these sites is in Canada, just like other fraud sites they exist in countries where they have immunity, if you used your credit card to pay theses services get in touch with their early fraud detection department and warn them they have ways of getting money that we can not imagine, they will use this information to stop the thieves from getting any more, you may have been a part of a ongoing fraud and that is why you never won any money in the card games. I play poker on line as well but not at any site that is not accompanied by a television program eg Party Poker. another popular scam is Canada on line pharmacies several exist, any time you receive spam and do not report it you further the cause of these con men. If every one did what they should we could all clean up the Internet ans stop this type of thing from happening. I think you better call your credit card company and try to get your money back.. Remember in life like cards if you can't see the fish you are the fish ,,,,,, good luck
Try to find out the General Managers name and contact details.

Stop being polite with the Companies and TELL them what is going to happen next, concerning YOUR MONEY.. If poss. get as much info as you can about 'Terms %26amp; Conditions', 'Your Rights' and 'Company Policy'...o/wise (HAD SAME PROB ONCE!!) ur true... u get a smart-@rse on the IM(LIVECHAT)... If at any time u feel u r getting nowhere..DEMAND to speak to the twats Supervisor, again if u get nowhere, DEMAND the on duty MANAGER!!

Find out which 'GROUP' own the company.. IE/ipoker, pokerstars, etc...and PHONE THEM..RECORD IT but u must tell them that you are doing so!!

IF u get nowhere again...There will be an online GAMBLING/GAMING/BETTING OMBUDSMAN!! You will need to contact him... TRY and get into a BIG FORUM!!! NOT THE POKERSITES OWN THO!! They will have many members who have experienced the same, and will have 'posts'concerning what is the best course of action!!

I know it's a pain, mate but if nothings done...on too many occassions... it will occur more and more!!! Plus the bast@rds make enough money as it is!! Good Luck.....Put another Q similar to this in the LAW AND UR RIGHTS section of ANSWERS... some ok advice there usually...
The processing of financial transactions on online casinos has been made extremely difficulty thanks to the U.S. Government. Even though the site you were on is Canadian, the entire online gaming industry is exerpiencing difficulty with transactions. In addition, online casinos deal with people trying to scam them out of money every day so they're not too quick to give money away.

I would call both Moneybookers and PokerinCanada again. If you keep on them, you'll most likely see your money. You may just have to make a few calls and stay on top of them.
Close your account with them and join betfair.com poker
Ouch this a tough one I would suggest contacting moneybookers. I would also suggest never playing at this site again, A. it's not a popular site I never even heard of it I am a poker guru. I would highly suggest checking out http://www.InternetPokerBonuses.com they only provide poker bonuses, site reviews and all kinds of info for Poker Sites with excellent integrity, reliability and customer service.

It really upsets me that some crap site is giving online poker a bad name. I will spread the word about this site.

Take Care
